About me

Hello, my name is Juan, and I'm a software developer.

There are a couple of useful things I've learned in the last couple of years while working as a software developer. I thought that maybe it was time for me to share this knowledge with people who might find it useful.

Programming is an incredibly exciting and rewarding field. The pay is good, working hours are flexible and for a lot of us, it's an opportunity to work on something we deeply enjoy. I still remember the excitement I felt after giving my first commands to a computer and getting the right outputs. It eventually became what I do for a living.

Software development is special compared to other crafts by the fact that the product of your efforts is not something tangible; it's your very materialized thought running inside of a chip. The main resource you use at work is not wood or clay; it's ideas, principles, and creativity.

Great!, now you know a little bit about the way I think and what motivates me as a professional. Thank you for spending time reading my content, I really hope you find these articles useful, or maybe even entertaining.
